Your attention please.

A Bank of Ireland officer just called me asking me if I was in the States (I'm not) : 2 ATM transactions with a total amount of 130 eur were made over there yesterday with a duplicate of my Irish Visa debit card.

The money will be refunded and the card reissued, but this is a reminder for everyone to be extremely careful typing PIN numbers and shopping online.

Keep an eye on your money! nobody else will do.

Have a nice weekend!

My all time 10 favourite Music albums

Originally published in Facebook on the 24th September, 2014

Following invitation from Juanma, here's my 10 all time favourite music albums list. I got to say that this list is quite uncomplete for me, it has been difficult leaving outside The Doors, to give just an example. Anyway, there it goes:

1. Oasis – What's the story? (Morning Glory)
2. Led Zeppelin – Early Days
3. Black Rebel Motorcycle club - BMRC
4. Los Planetas – Una semana en el motor de un autobús
5. The Who – My Generation: the best of the Who
6. Héroes del Silencio – Antología audiovisual
7. Extremoduro – Iros todos a tomar por culo
8. Tool - 10.000 days
9. Nirvana - Nevermind
10. Arcade Fire -The Suburbs
And now time for:

Ok, I know chains can suck, but this is not the case

Only in Dublin

Originally published in Facebook on the 24th of September 2014

The strangest thing has just happened. In our house. I swear that this is not a script for a short movie and the subsequent facts just have occurred at my appartment in Dorset st. Upr. , Dublin 1.

I was in my room listening some music with the headphones (in part, for doing the 10 favourite music album list) I started hearing some shouting in the living room. I went out and and a guy was entering our house by the house window. Yes, you're reading correctly. A junkie lookalike man. After trying unsuccessfully through another room window correctly close he could open the living room window and was trying to enter. My flatmate and his 2 friends he had over for dinner were trying to disuade him from entering but he jumped in anyway. the guy was probable on drugs, paranoid (said that 20 guys were chasing him through the roofs) and terrified, out of his mind. We pushed him out of the house and he entered the neighbours'. They did the same and together we could push him out of the building. We called the Gardai afterwards and 2 officers called in. After taking our declaraitons they took me in the car to identify a suspect 2 of his uniformed colleagues had just stopped. And there we went, there was the guy still completely fucked up, like on bad trip of LSD 3 streets away kept by 2 Guardians of the peace. I did positively identify the night roamer and the Gardai just drove me back.

Everything here is the naked truth.

As I said, only in Dublin

PD: the window was broken, now thanks to the incident seems to be ok XDXD

PPD: All of this on the same day that I met Josh Hartnett on the Penny Dreadful 2 set. As many of you know, I play occasionally extra actor roles with a Dublin agency. I had a scene with Mr. Hartnett (Im dead on a bar in the foreground and the first corpse he sees on the first chapter of Penny Dreadful 2) so the director introduced us, he told me "well done, Carlos" after my close up holding my breath dead on the bar was successful and I asked him if Ben Affleck is tall or short. He's tall, I always had the impression he was short and Mr. HArtnett was so kind to shed light on the matter. Very nice and approachable guy to be a Hollywood star, isnt he?

Hello

Hi everyone,

After "Galiano in América", my 2013 travel blog, I start this new adventure. This time will be in English and the main aspect of it will be bringing to you tales from the urban life. My urban life in Dublin. Well, Dublin's not a big big city, but big and interesting enough. Big City can be any city in the world where we, little ants, develop our daily (and nightly) lives, dreams, activities, rest, relationships, artistic life, thoughts, laughs, sadnesses....

Encouraged by one on my lecturers at my NCI Digital Marketing course, I have decided to bring once again to the Web 2.0 the reality as I see it, through my own personal filter that can be as right or wrong as yours, but the truth is, no vision is the right one all the time :D

Welcome to Big City
